PRESS

“Steps is an absolutely beautiful play exploring friendship, growing up, family, and the insurmountable weight of guilt. Written by Olivia Mathis and Zoë Parrish, this show interweaves raw emotions, vulnerability, and the hauntings of past trauma and experiences.

Alternating between flashbacks and the present, Margot relives and watches her younger self (Olivia Mathis), beginning on the day Grace (Abby Arkin) and her father move in.

“Steps” is a heartfelt, brilliantly acted, unique exploration of grief, guilt, blame, acceptance, and the ever present “what ifs” in life. Very well done. I decree 5 out of 5 stars.”
